Bombardino

These boozy little Bombardino cocktails are a favourite in Italian ski resorts, as the combination of hot coffee, Advocaat and brandy is the perfect remedy for chilly digits after a day on the slopes. Serve in small glasses as an alternative to eggnog at Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 100ml of espresso coffee, freshly brewed and hot
  • 60ml of Advocaat
  • 60ml of brandy, or spiced rum
  • whipped cream
  • cinnamon powder

Method

Gently warm the advocaat in a pan over a low heat, then stir in the brandy and espresso

Divide the mixture between four glasses, topping with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve hot
