Valeria Necchio is an Italian food, travel and culture writer and photographer with roots in the Venetian countryside. With a background in Cultural Studies, Food Communications and Gastronomy, Valeria has worked in communication in the food and hospitality industry while contributing stories and images on matters of food, travel and culture to a variety of publications. Valeria has a deep knowledge of Italian gastronomic culture and traditions, with a particular focus on her native region. Veneto, her debut cookbook-slash-memoir on the food and stories of her origins, was published in 2017. Valeria currently lives and works in Venice, Italy.
